2008-09 Recap: Wellesley Fencing concluded their season with a 9-6 record. The team completed an outstanding New England Fencing Championship with a first-place finish in foil and a second place finish in epee. As a team, the Blue placed 4th overall competing against 14 schools. Another highlight included a first place finish at the Wellesley Invitational, where the Blue went undefeated on their home turf.  Six Wellesley fencers qualified to compete at the NCAA Regional Championship, including: Hannah Braaten, Wendy Chin, Tess DeLean, Emily Johnson, Anne Benjamin and Ashley Paquin.  Braaten ended a stellar season advancing to the finals and finished 6th overall for the Blue.
