Wellesley College Swimming & Diving vs. Tufts

MEDFORD, Mass. - The Wellesley College Swimming and Diving team fell on the road to Tufts University, 183-113 on Wednesday evening in Medford. 

Wellesley picked up individual swimming wins from Hilary Gram (Hopkinton, MA), Dana Dutton (Anacortes, WA), Stephany Xiang (Wellesley, MA), Stephanie Welch (Dedham, MA) and also got a diving sweep from Kate Sorenson (Bolton, MA).

Gram won the 100-Fly in a time of 104.24 while Dutton took first in the 100-Free in 57.23.  Xiang was a winner in the 100-Back in 1:05.76 and Welch swam the 500-Free in a winning time of 5:41.75.

In diving, Sorenson won the 1-meter with a score of 281.40 while taking first in the 3-meter with a 277.50.

Wellesley Swimming and Diving returns to action on Saturday and Sunday competing at Connecticut College's Camel Invitational.
