2006 Recap: Cross country closed out a successful fall with three invitational wins, runner-up honors at the NEWMAC Championship, and a third place showing at Seven Sisters. First-year Clare Egan earned four collegiate wins this season including the Seven Sisters Championship, the first for a Wellesley runner since 1995, and the NEWMAC Championship. Egan’s NEWMAC win earned her both the NEWMAC Rookie of the Year and NEWMAC Runner of the Year honors.
