2006 Recap: The 2006 season was one of the most successful in the 25-year history of the Wellesley field hockey program. The Blue snagged their sixth Seven Sisters title in seven years, clinched the NEWMAC regular season title, and received an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship. In only the third NCAA appearance in the program’s history, Wellesley scored a decisive victory in its first round game before falling in the Round of 16.
