2006 Recap: Finishing with a 9-7 record, the team’s best finish in four years, Wellesley enjoyed crucial regular season wins over NEWMAC foes MIT, WPI, and Clark. Five of Wellesley’s seven losses came in tough one-goal decisions that the Blue hope to avenge in 2007. Wellesley fell in the quarterfinals of the NEWMAC Tournament when the Blue endured another one-goal loss to eventual runner-up Smith College.
