2006 Recap: Wellesley captured its ninth Seven Sisters championship in eleven years and finished the regular season in a three-way tie for second. In the NEWMAC tournament, the Blue avenged last year’s quarterfinal loss to Smith but dropped a heart-breaking semifinal match to Coast Guard, the eventual NEWMAC and Regional Champion.
