Congratulations on your graduation from Wellesley! Commencement is a major milestone, one you may wish to note by sending a news release to your local newspaper(s). Use the sample release below as a guide as you fill out the appropriate release for you (2000 Graduate or 2000 Davis Scholar Graduate). Print or type your information in the lines provided and send to your local newspaper(s). Your item should be published within two to four weeks of submission; if not, call the editor to confirm receipt. You'll note that the blank form provides space for you to include information about aspects of your Wellesley career, e.g., honors earned, offices held, internships, extracurricular activities, sports teams, etc. If you decide to include a photograph with your release, please be sure it is labeled on the back with your name and Wellesley College Commencement 2000. If you want the photo returned to you, you should be sure to include a SASE envelope. Best wishes in all your future pursuits.
