WELLESLEY NAMES GANDEL ASSISTANT TENNIS COACH
WELLESLEY, Mass. – Louise O’Neal,
Director of Athletics at Wellesley College, has announced the appointment
of Jennifer Crabtree Gandel as assistant tennis coach.
A graduate of the University of Miami-Ohio, Gandel played Division
I tennis for the RedHawks. During her career, Gandel has held numerous
positions within the tennis ranks, serving as the Assistant Tennis
Professional at the Heritage Pool and Racket Club and at the Concord
Country Club. Still active within the tennis community, Gandel participates
in the USTA Women’s 5.0 leagues and Working Women’s
Leagues.
Currently a Senior Consultant with Boston Networking Group, Gandel
will help guide Wellesley in its 2004 spring season. Wellesley opens
its spring schedule in Orlando, Florida against Palm Beach Atlantic
University on March 22.
