WELLESLEY NAMES NICHOLS NOVICE CREW COACH
WELLESLEY, Mass. – Louise O’Neal,
Director of Athletics at Wellesley College, has announced that Megan
Nichols has been named Novice Crew Coach, effective immediately.
Nichols, who served as Wellesley’s Assistant Crew Coach during
the 2003-2004 academic year, will guide this season’s Novice
Crew student-athletes during the fall and spring competitions.
A 2003 graduate of the University of California, Berkley, Nichols
holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. She also earned an
Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Orange Coast College
in 2001. Nichols rowed for both the University of California, Berkley
and Orange Coast College’s crew teams.
