Delegates

Representatives of more than 100 colleges, universities and learned societies marched in the academic procession of the inauguration of H. Kim Bottomly on May 9, 2008.

In keeping with tradition, delegates processed in chronological order of their institutions' founding, beginning with the University of Cambridge, founded in 1209, and concluding with Wellesley's neighbor, Olin College of Engineering, founded in 1997.
