Brian Kuscher is entering his second season as head tennis coach and instructor of physical education. A former tennis standout at Franklin Pierce University, Kuscher holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communications.
Kuscher comes to Wellesley from Dartmouth, where he served as an assistant coach for the Dartmouth women’s tennis team, a position that he held for two seasons. At Dartmouth, Kuscher helped the Big Green return to the national scene with a ranking as high as 53rd in 2007. In 2008, he helped guide Dartmouth to a 16-4 overall record and its first winning season in the Ivies in eight years.
Prior to his stint at Dartmouth, Kuscher served as the assistant director of New England Team Tennis (NETT) for six years. He also served as head tennis professional at the Quechee Club in Vermont and as the assistant tennis professional at the Boss Tennis Center at Dartmouth College.

We look forward to having Brian join Wellesley College and our Physical Education, Recreation and Athletics department.”
As a student-athlete at Franklin Pierce, Kuscher accumulated more than 100 wins during his career and was named the New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Year for the 1997-98 season.
