forecast predicting a Nor'Easter in New England
Galen Stone Tower

At Wellesley… 2015 brought record snowfall. And cold. And the rest of it. Opinions varied on whether this was an awesome thing or a regrettable thing. But by April, it had melted away into Wellesley’s glorious blossom-filmed spring, a jubilant commencement, an energetic welcome to the class of 2019, and a gala launch for the Campaign to Advance the Wellesley Effect. And in the moments between Wellesley studied. We learned. We shared. We researched. We presented. The variety, depth, and delight of the intellectual endeavors here could blow you over like a nor’easter. So as we welcome the season ahead, we take a spin through the halls of Wellesley to share with you a small sample of our multitalented faculty at work--through a lens of winter. A liberal arts winter.

We invite you to watch, or re-watch, our year-end greetings from past years. You’ll see an evolution of themes and recurrence of elements over the course of Snowflake 101, Auld Lang Syne, and Winter at Wellesley. Wellesley Snow Globe is just a natural next step.
