2009 Recap: The 2009 Wellesley lacrosse team finished with an overall record of 9-8. The Blue advanced to the NEWMAC Semifinals before falling to #1 seed and eventual tournament champion, Babson. The season was highlighted by a 9-8 upset victory over NESCAC-opponent, Bowdoin, in which Jenny Holland scored the game-winner with just 1:46 remaining in the game. Four Wellesley players earned spots on the NEWMAC All-Conference team with Loretta White and Molly Morrow being named to the first team and Jenny Holland and Meredith Roy earning second team honors. Closing out the season, White and Morrow were named to the All-Region team.
