2009 Recap: Blue Soccer completed its 2009 season with a 9-6-3 record and finished as the NEWMAC regular season champion for the first time since 1997. Despite a devastating loss to Springfield in the NEWMAC semifinals, the Blue recorded big wins over Babson, Clark, and regional rival Brandeis. Chelsea-Ann Patry ‘13 and Megan Turchi ’13 received All-Conference recognition with Patry earning a first team selection and Turchi earning a second team selection. Wellesley’s Head Coach Tony Mohammad was also named the 2009 NEWMAC Coach of the Year.
