In the second half, Wellesley cut the Brandeis lead to 47-17 on a lay-up from Nicole Labbee (Florence, MA) with 17 to play. However, the Judges’ answered back with a 7-1 run to put them ahead by 37 with 10 minutes still to play in the half.
Despite 10 second half points from Jessica Duff (Milton, Abingdon, UK), the Brandeis lead proved to be too much for the Blue to overcome as Wellesley fell 70-37.
