The 2008 Blue won a record 30 games and also clinched the NEWMAC regular season championship with a 13-3 conference mark. Wellesley also qualified for its second straight NCAA Tournament and finished the season ranked 22nd in the nation. Capping a brilliant career for the Blue, pitcher Jenna Harvey was named a national All-American for the second straight season.
In 2007, O’Meara’s Blue won their first-ever NEWMAC Championship and also earned a bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Before entering the college coaching ranks, O’Meara spent five years coaching and teaching at the high school level (West Essex Regional High School, Caldwell, N.J.; Long Branch High School, Long Branch, N.J.)
