In-Depth...
- One word that best describes you: Genuine
- Role model?: I’m not sure if I have a role model per se but I definitely look up to the older girls on the team and alumnae like Sefi.
- Favorite aspect about your team: I think we have a lot of fun playing basketball together.
- What do you do to get ready for a game? What do you do to get ready for a game? Etc etc: I like to get a really good night’s sleep before the game. I usually listen to Eminem and Nickelback while I am putting on my shoes and stretching. My favorite thing to do before a game is just to be all jumpy and excited—it’s really fun when you see that everyone else on the team is like that too (sometimes Katie M bursts into song!).
- What is your dream job? Architect or Author
- If you could play any sport that you have never played before, what would it be? Soccer
- Goals for your team: I want us to push the ball, play tough defense and have a significant post season.
- Who is your favorite professional athlete? Jason Kidd
- Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Someplace warm!
- What do you want to know about the future? Will Hillary get elected?
- What does success mean to you? Success means emptying the tank.
- What does it mean to be a student-athlete at Wellesley? Being a student athlete at Wellesley College means balancing your passions for sports and academics as well as making time for friends. It means working really hard and taking pride in what you do. I think you have to take pride in what you do because most people at Wellesley don’t understand your sacrifices; they may look at how much sleep you get and think you “have it easy” while really you just have to be much more efficient.
- Something about you that would surprise people: I talk in my sleep…pretty much every night.
- Who is the team’s best dancer? Courtney Pelley, Migs, and Katie Frett are all really good, creative dancers.
- Nobody knows how much I like… reading.
