In-Depth...
- One word that best describes you: dork
- Role model?: Pillsbury Doughboy (Roll model...)
- Favorite aspect about your team: Everyone is hilarious, whether or not she is trying to be!
- What do you do to get ready for a game? I like to dance to the music on the warm up CD, most notably “Crank That.” My teammates are probably seriously annoyed with me at this point but they put up with it!
- What is your dream job? As much as I try to get around it, I love playing. So if I were 6’2” and jumped 36 inches I would love to be a professional athlete!
- If you could play any sport that you have never played before, what would it be? I would be either a gymnast or a dancer. There are a number of times each day that I get the urge to do back handsprings and back flips and things like that.
- Goals for your team: We are GOING to win NEWMACs, but not only that, I would really like for us to play multiple matches in the NCAA tournament.
- What are your plans when you graduate? I have no idea. I don’t think I’m headed to graduate school but I could be wrong.
- Who is your favorite professional athlete? It’s a toss up between Warrick Dunn and Ernie Sims.
- Where do you see yourself in 10 years? I see myself working in a corner office with tons of windows on the top floor of some enormous building in some enormous city.
- What do you want to know about the future? I want to know what my major will be!
- What does success mean to you? Success means accomplishing set goals.
- What does it mean to be a student-athlete at Wellesley? It means complaining about being forced to use your flex points and buy dinner on nights when practice/games end after the dining halls have closed! But seriously, it means feeling like “big woman on campus”, along with the 249 other “big women on campus” yet knowing that I’m a student before I’m an athlete.
- Something about you that would surprise people: I love to play cards.
- Who is the team’s best dancer? Samantha and Arcadia, definitely. Those two are WAY too into breaking it down…
- Nobody knows how much I like…the Golden Girls. They think they know, but they don’t.
