Wellesley Tennis Falls to Two-Time Defending National Champion, Williams
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Wellesley College women’s tennis team fell 9-0, to the two-time defending National Champion Williams College Ephs on Sunday.
Wellesley fell behind 3-0 after doubles and then dropped the singles portion of the match to lower their season record to 3-2.
Senior Meghan Stubblebine (Cumming, GA) took her fourth singles match into tiebreaker before falling 12-10 in a hard-fought battle.
The Blue are back in action on Tuesday at 4:00pm hosting a key NEWMAC match-up against MIT.
