Blue Volleyball Falls to Williams to Open Hall of Fame Tournament

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – The Wellesley College volleyball team fell to defending New England Regional Champion, Williams, 3-0, on Friday evening to open up the Volleyball Hall of Fame Tournament.

The Blue dropped the three-set match, 25-11, 25-18, 25-22, and move to 16-8 on the season.

First-year Taylor King (Walnut Creek, CA) led Wellesley with eight kills,while classmate Elizabeth Campbell (Solona Beach, CA) added seven. Senior Alice Kate Cummings (Tallahassee, FL) picked up six kills and seven digs, while Victoria Peng (Diamond Bar, CA) dished out 16 assists.

Wellesley will continue play at 10:00am on Saturday morning, taking on the loser of the Springfield/Amherst match.
