Wellesley College Golfer Kim Eaton Takes 6th at Dartmouth Invite

HANOVER, NH – The Wellesley College golf team finished in 16th place at the Dartmouth Invitational. Leading the way for the Blue was sophomore Kim Eaton (Shepherdstown, WV) who finished tied for sixth place overall.
Eaton finished with a two-day score of 165, shooting a round of 78 on day two and improving upon her 9th-place finish at last year's invitational.
The Blue combined for an overall team score of 705, with each of Wellesley's scoring golfers improving their day two performance. Wellesley first-year Alexis Kelleher (Worcester, MA) had an 11-stroke improvement from her day one score, shooting a 79 on day two on the par-72 course.
Captain Soumya Srinagesh (Palo Alto, CA) shot an 89 on day two, a four stroke improvement while first year's Katrina Soriano (Livingston, NJ) and Kyndal Turner (East Poin, GA) knocked off four and two strokes, respectively on day two.
Wellesley will return to the links at the Mount Holyoke Invitational next Saturday and Sunday.
