Eaton in Third After Day Three of NCAA Golf Championships

Waverly, Iowa – With three rounds of play under her belt, Wellesley College first-year golfer Kim Eaton (Shepherdstown, WV) is holding her third-place position at the 2008 NCAA Division III Championships.
Eaton shot a round of 76 on Thursday to record a three-day total 225 (73-75-76). She's just four strokes behind third behind Methodist's Susan Martin (221) and is two off the pace of Stephanie Mingos of Rhodes (223).
In the team competition, ten-time defending champion Methodist University developed a large lead through three rounds with a 915-942 advantage over second-place Southwestern University of Texas.
