Wellesley Golfer Kim Eaton Finishes 10th at NCAA Championships

Waverly, Iowa – Wellesley College first-year golfer Kim Eaton (Shepherdstown, WV) ended her stellar rookie campaign with a top-10 finish at the 2008 NCAA Division III Golf Championships.
Eaton shot a four-day total of 306 (75-73-77-81) to finish in a tie for 10th place at the tournament. Her top-10 finish is the best finish for a Wellesley golfer at the NCAA Championships.
Susan Martin of Methodist shot a 294 to take the individual title while Methodist also won the team title for their 11th straight NCAA Championship win.
Eaton's NCAA appearance capped a year in which she earned medalist honors at the Wellesley Invitational, the Massachusetts State Invitational and the Endicott tri-match. She also finished third at the Williams Spring Invitational and fourth at the Williams Fall Invitational.
