Wellesley's Kim Eaton Named All-American

WELLESLEY, Mass. – Wellesley College golfer Kim Eaton (Shepherdstown, WV) closed out a successful sophomore season being named a second team All-America honoree by the National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA).
Eaton, who was also a first-team All-Region selection, won both the Vassar Invitational and the Massachusetts Collegiate Invitational this season. She also finished second at the Ann S. Batchelder Invitational, the Wellesley Spring Invitational and the Mount Holyoke Invitational. Eaton was one of only six individual golfers selected to play in the 2009 NCAA Championships, where she finished 45th in a field of 111 participants.
A pre-med major from Shepherdstown, West Virginia, this is Eaton's second straight All-America award. As a first-year she was a honorable mention All-America selection as well as a first-team All-Region selection.
