Wellesley's Kim Eaton Runner-Up at Mount Holyoke Invitational

SOUTH HADLEY , Mass. – Wellesley College sophomore golfer Kim Eaton (Shepherdstown, WV) took runner-up honors at the 33rd annual Mount Holyoke College Invitational on Sunday at the Orchards.
Eaton finished the two-day invitational with a +15 score of 158. The West Virginia native shot a second-round 80 to go along with a 78 on the first day to finish just three strokes off the lead. Middlebury's Courtney Mazzei grabbed medalist honors shooting a 155 (82-73).
Wellesley first-year Alexis Kelleher (Worcester, MA) shot her lowest collegiate round on day two with a 78. She also grabbed her first top-10 finish, tying for ninth place with a two day total of 163 (85-78).
Wellesley captain Soumya Srinagesh (Palo Alto, CA) shot a second-day 88 to finish at 175 (87-88) and 38th place in a field of 79 golfers.
The Blue return to the links on Saturday, September 27th hosting the first-annual Ann S. Batchelder Invitational at Nehoiden Golf Club in Wellesley, Mass.
