Eaton Takes Title as Wellesley Golf Competes at Vassar Invitational
Final Results
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Wellesley College's Kim Eaton (Shepherdstown, WV) took the individual title at the 2009 Vassar College Golf Invitational.
The sophomore shot a 78 on day two of the competition, after carding a 77 on day one. Her two-round total of 155 was five strokes better than the second place finisher, Amherst's Hayley Milbourn.
Also for Wellesley, first-year Alexis Kelleher (Worcester, MA) improved on her first-round 91, shooting an 84 on day two. Her total score of 175, tied her for 17th place overall.
Wrapping up the individual performances for the Blue, Emma Li (Vancouver, WA) shot a 120 on day two to finish 51st with a final score of 229.
Wellesley golf is back in action on Friday, April 17th at the Massachusetts Collegiate Invitational.
