Eaton, Kelleher in Top Ten After Day One of Williams Invitational
Day One Results
WILLIAMSTOWN, MA – Two Wellesley College golfer sit in the top ten after 18 holes of action at the two-day Williams College Spring Invitational.
Blue sophomore Kim Eaton (Shepherdstown, WV) shot a 78 on the first 18, to sit in a tie for third place overall. First-year Alexis Kelleher (Worcester, MA) shot a career-low 81, to place her in 8th place going in to the second day of competition.
Julie Ellenberger (38-39) and Flora Weeks (37-40) of Middlebury College fired 77's to lead the field.
Also for Wellesley, Emma Li (Vancouver, WA) shot a 111 on day one.
Action continues tomorrow at the Williams Spring Invitational.
