Wellesley Takes Third at Williams Spring Invitational

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Wellesley College golf team hit for their season-best score this weekend at the Williams Spring Invitational. The Blue notched a third-place finish at the par-71, 5,827 yard course at the Taconic Golf Club.
As a team, Wellesley carded a 327 on day one and improved to 316 on the second day of action.
Wellesley was led by junior Kimberly Eaton (Shepherdstown, WV) who recorded career-low of 72 on day two. For the second tounrament in a row, she finished tied for the lead before narrowly falling in the playoff hole. Eaton finished the tournament with a 151.
Michelle Cho (La Crescenta, CA) was the next top finisher for the Blue in 16th place with scores of 83 and 80. Cassandra Tavolarella (Vero Beach, FL) finished 21st with scores of 77 and 87, while Alexis Kelleher (Worcester, MA) shot 88 and 77, good for 22nd place.
